Sae DOK Primary School

$4,000.00
sold out

Sae is a Primary school with about 500 students, 5-17 years old. In 2021, Sweetwater Outreach installed a 5,000L tank. Shortly after this installation, the local parliament installed a 10,000L tank, giving the school access to 15,000L of water. The school will occasionally be able to  buy tablets to purify the water, however they say that only about 30% of the water is purified overall. The students and teachers say that the clean water is like a treat for them. Before the tanks were at the school, these children complained of many gastrointestinal issues, but now they do not deal with these problems as often. With a purification system, these children would be able to know what it’s like to only very rarely deal with the issues caused by waterborne illnesses.
